Sponsorship & Fundraising Events

Stuart Lockhart was a good friend of Steve Kay and his family.  Stuart is arranging a golf day on the above date.   Numbers are limited to 32 players so Stuart will need to know as soon as possible if you are interested in attending.
The detail about the event is still in discussion, but the idea is to enjoy a game of golf whilst at the same time raising awareness of Skin Cancer and raising money for the Kay families chosen Charity, Factor 50. Therefore, to participate all players need to raise a minimum of £30 sponsorship for the day. All money raised will then go to Factor 50's Malignant Melanoma Research Fund.
 
The event will take place at the Best Western Gartstang Country Hotel & Golf Club with the cost being £30, which includes 18 holes of golf, Bacon Barms, Tea/Coffee and a two course dinner afterwards. Stuart has provisionally booked 8 tee off times between 11am and 12.30pm.
 
After the golf, there will be other fund raising activities (Raffles/quiz etc, etc.) to allow none golfers to join us and make a contribution and participate in the day.
